Shawn McCall
. . Contributed By Randy KethcartOn Saturday, January 30, 1999
I'm looking to make contact with Shawn McCall. Last time I saw him was on Nov. 9th 1970, when he was put on a dustoff and flew into the darkness. This was also the night that Randall Lee Ellis, Francis William Harter, and Ronald J. Di Bartolomeo were killed (Ron lived 2 days and died on Nov. 11th). I will miss and remember them always. I would really like to hear from you Shawn, so if anyone knows you Please let me know. November 9th 1970 was the very worst day of my life! Thank you, Randy

If you were there or if you knew him, please contact me.

I am particularly looking for a Charles Oden who was the Chaplains Assistant at the time. He was his closest friend.

Mike was in country from Aug. 67 to Mar. 68. He was in the battles of Dak To and I know he lost many friends there. Any responses welcome.

. . Contributed By Cindy SkinnerOn Friday, February 05, 1999
I am looking for any friends or information I can find on my brother William C. Weiss, Jr who was killed when his helicoptor was shot down in May of 1970. According to his service records he served as a Military Policeman at Fort Bragg NC in February of 68, was shipped to Vietnam in November of 68, served as a door gunner starting November of 69 with the 101st Airborn Division. Bill was a crew chief flying in a helicoptor in support of a combat operation. Apparently two helicoptors collided in mid air and crashed.
