Maj. Sam Bass 34 TFS Korat RTAFB -5/68 . . Contributed By Harvey BassOn Tuesday, May 19, 1998 My father was Maj. Sam Bass, 34th TFS (F-105D's ) stationed at Korat RTAFB during May, 1968. He was killed in a mid-air collision, at least that's what the AF claimed. If anyone knew him or his wingman (whom he collided with) I would like to know more about my dad and what really happened. I've gone back over the last years worth of postings. The impact of the messages is beyond description. I will be at the Wall the 25th. the one with the bush hat, reflecting on the last 30 years without him.
